festival competitions

These are the winners of last year's (2008) scarecrows competition as voted for by the public. The winners each received a £25 cash prize which was kindly sponsored by the Turnpike Beefeater. We estimate that there were around 300 scarecrows in 2008.

The Scarecrow Organising Committee would like to thank all villagers for taking the time out of their busy lives once again to create such tremendously imaginative scarecrows and for their ongoing support of our
fundraising efforts for Harpole village charities.
